An exceptional vintage Fins bois - Bons bois

Fins bois

This region forms a vast belt around Grande and Petite Champagne and the Borderies. Its eaux-de-vie are round and supple, but age rather quickly and are less robust. The fruity bouquet is reminiscent of pressed grapes. The subsoil, made up of hard limestone, is very varied. In the northern part of the region, the soil is "Groies" (Jurassic). In the southern part, the cretaceous is associated with tertiary soils.

Bons bois

They surround Les Fins Bois and include land that is more exposed to the influences of the sea to the west and the continent to the east. The Bois (Bons Bois, Bois Ordinaires or Bois à terroirs) produce eaux-de-vie with fruity aromas that age rapidly. A more heterogeneous appellation with Jurassic and Cretaceous formations. The climate is distinct, either maritime (western zone) or continental (eastern zone). There are many different types of eau-de-vie.
